General Information

Students may enter 2 pieces with one exception:
1. Physical Work that is dropped off at the gallery during the submission dates. (see entry form for more information)

2. Virtual Work must be emailed to Arthur king,
aking@dvc.edu (see entry form for more information)

EXCEPTION: a student may enter multiple artworks of either physical or digital only if the work is meant to be shown and labeled as a set, for example: A diptych, triptych or a set of cups etc.

Dropping off work:
1. All work must be ready for presentation at the time of drop off and the online form filled out.

2. The art gallery will not install hanging hardware onto frames,  if the artwork requires special equipment or installation needs the artist may be required to be present when the artwork is installed.

3. The artwork must be dry with no wet surfaces that could smear or damage artwork belonging to other students.

Eligibility 

1. Open to currently enrolled DVC/SRC art and art digital media students.
2. Artwork must have been created within the last year at DVC/SRC with the assistance of faculty and staff, either in person or on line.

Entry dates for physical artwork in the gallery: 
March 25-29
M-TH 9-4, F 9-1

Exhibition dates: 
April 8-May 2, 2024

Awards announced:
April 25, awards will be announced in the Art Complex courtyard during the awards ceremony

Entry fee: None 

Picking up artwork:
Students may not remove artwork until the end of the show. If a student sells a piece of artwork, the artwork must remain in the show until it closes after the final posted day. No work will be stored after the last pick up date has expired.
